What We Offer

Puppy Foundations: Obedience and Socialization

For pups under 1 year old 🐾

The first year shapes who your dog becomes for the next decade. Puppy Foundations is designed to set you and your puppy up for a calm, confident adult life — through real-world skills, healthy socialization, and the kind of structure that makes life easier without being heavy-handed. Sessions are held in your home and in public settings, because socialization needs real exposure to do its job.

What's covered:‍ ‍

  • House training and crate work

  • Sit, down, stay, recall, hand targeting, and polite leash walking

  • Healthy socialization — done thoughtfully, without flooding

  • Bite inhibition and impulse control

  • Building confidence in new environments

  • Handling and grooming acceptance

Single sessions: 60 minutes — $75 ; 30-minute sessions also available — $40

Private Sessions

For Dogs of All Ages 🐾

Private sessions are the core of how I work. Whether you're refining everyday manners, building obedience from scratch, or working through something more complex — reactivity, fear, aggression, anxiety, or separation anxiety — each session is built around your specific dog and your specific goals.

Behavior modification sessions move at your dog's pace, not a fixed timeline. Depending on the case, we may incorporate desensitization and counterconditioning protocols, decompression work, and management strategies for the time between sessions. I'll always be honest with you about what your dog's situation is likely to need.

What's covered:

  • Basic obedience: sit, down, stay, recall, place, leash manners

  • Reactivity on walks (other dogs, people, bikes, etc.)

  • Fear and anxiety

  • Aggression and resource guarding

  • Separation anxiety

  • Impulse control and everyday manners

Single sessions: 60 minutes — $75; 30-minute sessions also available — $40

Decompression Walks — 30 minutes

Add-on to any session 🐾

A decompression walk is exactly what it sounds like — a structured, sniff-led, low-pressure walk that gives your dog the chance to actually be a dog. For reactive, anxious, or over-aroused dogs, this kind of walk is often more therapeutic than a training session.

Decompression walks happen in quiet outdoor settings — wooded paths, low-traffic parks, open trails — chosen specifically to minimize triggers and maximize your dog's ability to settle. The goal isn't training. It's giving your dog the time and space to regulate, sniff, explore, and decompress.

Available as a 30-minute add-on to any training session — $25
